Earn twice the savings starting Sept. 16

PORTLAND, ME – Override, a network of respected retailers throughout New England that offers gas savings directly to consumers, is offering some good news to offset the end-of-summer blues.

Beginning Sept. 16, participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations are offering “double rewards” to their customers participating in the Override program.  For every $20 purchased with a Dunkin’ Donuts Card, customers participating in the Override program may now receive 8 cents off the price of a gallon of Irving gas. The offer is good until Sept. 30, and the extra savings can be redeemed at more than 160 Irving locations throughout New England until Oct. 14, subject to the terms and conditions of the Override program.

“As customers switch from iced coffee to hot coffee drinks, we thought we’d celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of a great fall here in Maine and New Hampshire,” said Harry Hadiaris, Director of Operations for Irving Oil. “A visit to the local Dunkin’s is part of a great morning routine for thousands of people, and we wanted to brighten it up just a little bit more.”

There are 149 Dunkin’ locations throughout Maine, with a small number in New Hampshire, participating in the Override gas savings program.

The Override network of retailers has included Irving and Shaw’s Supermarkets since July 2007. Dunkin’ Donuts joined the program in the spring of 2008.
