GAS SAVINGS PROGRAM WITH SHAW’S AND DUNKIN’ DONUTS CONTINUES TO GROW
Savings can be redeemed at more than 200 Irving stations in New England
PORTSMOUTH, NH – Override, New England’s premier gas savings program, is announcing that Shaw’s Supermarkets is extending the program until Dec. 31, 2008 and that the number of participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations is expanding by almost 200 stores.
The Dunkin’ Donuts expansion includes locations exclusively throughout New Hampshire.
There are 78 participating Shaw’s stores in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The savings earned at Dunkin’ Donuts and Shaw’s are redeemable at 200 participating Irving locations in those five states.
“Override, in the space of one short year, has become an invaluable program for thousands and thousands of consumers throughout New England, and that’s because it puts money right back into the pockets of people who shop at Override’s retail partners,” said Harry Hadiaris. “We couldn’t be happier to have this program available to shoppers throughout the holiday season.”
Override operates on a simple principal. Customers shopping at either a participating Shaw’s or Dunkin’ Donuts locations earns savings on their next gas purchase with a minimum purchase. At Shaw’s, a minimum purchase of $50 earns 10 cents off a gallon of Irving gas. At Dunkin’ Donuts, purchases totalling $20 earns the customer 5 cents off their next Irving purchase.
Each purchase must be made with either the Shaw’s Rewards Card or a Dunkin’ Donuts Card. The customer also must register their Dunkin’ Donuts Card at dunkindonuts.com.
“The power of Override lies in the fact that when participants link their cards at Override.com, they are able to combine their savings from both retailers,” said Hadiaris. “It has a very real impact on the price of gas at the pump.”
Savings can be redeemed at Irving until Jan. 15, 2008.
“We could not be happier to be able to offer this great chance to save to our customers in New Hampshire,” said Tammy Monks, Manager of Marketing for Dunkin’ Donuts. “Where else in Maine or New Hampshire can you start your day with a delicious beverage of your choice, a healthy breakfast snack – and a chance to save on gas? At Dunkin’ Donuts, you can.”
